What is FourSight?
FourSight measures Creative Problem Solving Preferences. It is designed to identify an individual's preference for solving problems. There are 4 categories in which an individual can fall. The style preferences include Clarifier, Ideator, Developer, and Implementer.
After completing this inventory, I concluded that I am considered an Integrator. My score for a clarifier was a 27, ideator – 25, developer – 28, and implementor – 29. Since these results are all very close, I am considered an integrator. Integrators take a very even approach to the breakthrough thinking process with a profile that shows no particular peaks or valleys. These results seem to very well reflect me since I am very flexible and easily accommodate whatever the task requires. Similarly, this supports the notion that I am a good team player and find it easy to work with people of all preferences.
How could schools use FourSight?
- Administrators could use this to evaluate which faculty members should teach each grade level
- Administrators could also use this to identify which faculty members would work well together
- Teachers could use this for the same idea : in order to group students and,
- evaluate teams' make up
