What is the Transaction Ability Inventory?
The Transaction Ability Inventory is also known as the Gregorc Style Delineator.
The purpose of this instrument is to aid you to identify your natural means of transacting with your environment. The means are identified through the individual’s ranking of the words in the following sets. There are several sets of words where an individual ranks each four words: (4) to the word which best describes yourself, (3) to the word which is the next most descriptive, (2) to the next word, and a (1) to the word which is least descriptive. There are a total of ten sets of words containing four words in each set. After ranking each set, the individual is to add up each column to get a score for the following:

Schools could use this inventory to either:
- identify which environment is best suited for their faculty
- identify which environment is best suited for certain students
